Although they do not bite and are not known to carry diseases, they can still cause a lot of trouble by damaging vegetable gardens and yards. As they rarely come out in the open, traps and poison are not effective against them. However, you can still remove them from your yard using the following methods:

Superglue is the superman of adhesives, and it is used everywhere from homes to industries. If extra care is not taken when using superglue, this useful substance can damage your clothes, furniture and household items and even render them useless. Fortunately, even superglue has its nemesis and acetone is its ultimate enemy. In the absence of acetone, nail polish remover can also be used equally effectively. From Clothes/fabrics: Put the cloth/fabric on the ironing board, place a paper towel on the area affected by the superglue, and then press it with warm iron. Increase the heat gradually until the superglue melts. The melted glue will be absorbed by the paper towel. If some of the glue is still there, replace the paper towel with a new paper towel and repeat the process until there is no trace of the glue left.

Take a piece of rug or a large cotton ball and dab it with acetone or nail polish remover. Wipe the affected part of the metal with the rug or cotton ball until the superglue softens. Pluck off he softened superglue with a plastic scraper and throw it into the dustbin. Finally, wash the metal surface with soap and water, and dry it with a cotton cloth.
From Counter-tops and Laminated flooring: Put a few drops of acetone or nail polish remover on the affected area and wait until the superglue dissolves. The hose must have a strong spray nozzle to produce enough force to wash off the paint. Use a plastic brush to scrub the remaining paint and then wash that off as well with the hose.
Paint thinner: Pour some paint thinner over the spray paint marks and let it dry for half an hour. This dissolves the spray paint. Use a hard brush to scrub off the paint and then wash away the residue with clean water.
Chemical strippers: Pour some chemical stripper on the paint mark. You can also apply it with a brush if you like. The stripper dissolves the spray paint and makes it easier to remove. How to Remove Candle Wax
Something as mundane as removing candle wax from the floor, table, carpet and wall can take up hours of chore if you don’t know how to do it properly. You may not think candle wax much of a problem, but once it flows down from a burning candle and gets stuck to a surface, it can be obstinate. Luckily, it leaves no stain and for this reason many people do not even bother to remove them until a later date. But as the wax grow older, they become yellowish and then blackish. This makes your home look dirty. Therefore, candle wax should be removed as soon as possible.
While you can remove candle wax with a kitchen knife or even with your fingers, you should avoid doing that as it can leave permanent cut marks and scars on the surface. In fact, never use any sharp object to remove candle wax from any type of surface, whether smooth or rough. You will only end up damaging and disfiguring the surface. Here are some ingenious ways you can remove candle wax from any surface without damaging the surface.

Using a hair dryer: This is one of the best methods for expensive furniture, glassware and oil painted walls that you won’t even dream of spoiling. You will need a hair dryer and a piece of clean, soft cloth. Blow dry the surface with the wax until the wax melts and then wipe it off with the soft clean cloth. This is the best way to remove candle wax from smooth surfaces.

Using a hot iron: The above is good only for a smooth surface. If you try it on a carpet, you will end up creating more mess. Therefore, the best way to remove candle wax from a carpet is to use a hot iron. First, scrape off the wax with a blunt knife or scale. Then spread a clean cloth on top of the waxed area and place a hot iron on top of it. The heat of the iron melts and vaporizes the wax which floats right up into the air. If the wax is new, let it become hard first; otherwise ironing it will make the carpet messy.

Using a paper bag: If you have accidentally dropped candle wax on your clothes, do the following. First, scrape the blotches with a blunt knife. After that put the cloth on top of the ironing board, take a paper bag and place it on the waxed area, and then press it with a hot iron from inside the paper bag. The melted wax will stick to the paper and the cloth will be free of wax.
Using the freezer: If the candle wax is stuck obstinately inside the candle holder or kitchen utensils made of ceramic, the best way to remove it is to put it in the freezer for a few hours. The frozen wax can be easily plucked off with your fingers or a toothpick.
