Follow these natural options to thicken your scanty eyebrows.

Eye Pencil

One of the best ways and the quickest ways to thicken your eyebrows is using an eye pencil. Use a dark brown pencil and color the thin areas to give it a better shape. The trick is to first use a normal brown pencil to color the thin areas and then use a dark brown pencil to give it a desired shape and volume. Make sure that you color gently in outward motion.

Cosmetic Treatment

If you cannot take care of your eyebrows but still want to thicken it, you can go for a cosmetic treatment, which includes implantation of hair follicles in the areas that have no eyebrow hair. However, these treatments are expensive and may even have some side effects.

Olive Oil

Olive Oil

Olive oil has always been very good for hair and your eyebrow hair is no different. Therefore, apply olive oil everyday on your eyebrows and massage it for few minutes before going to bed. Olive oil has the right nutrients that makes existing hair stronger and promotes new growth.

Aloe Vera Gel

Aloe vera gel

Aloe Vera gel is another natural way of thickening your eyebrows. Aloe Vera is not only good for hair but it also helps in exfoliating your skin and lets it breathe. If you have an Aloe Vera plant then just peel off the upper skin of a plucked stem from the plant. Once you have peeled off the skin, you will see a translucent gel. Use a spoon to scrape out this gel, apply it raw on your eyebrow region, and leave it to dry. Once it is dry, rinse your eyebrows with cold water. Do this twice a day preferably, once in the morning and again before going to bed to get best results. Alternatively, if you do not have access to Aloe Vera plant you can buy Aloe Vera gel from the market but make sure that you buy the one, which has least or no chemical additives.

Castor Oil

 Castor Oil

Surprisingly, castor oil helps a great deal in thickening of scanty eyebrows. If you want to have those thick eyebrows, you must use castor oil daily for about two months and see the miraculous results. It not only lubricates the root of the hair but also has a key ingredient, which kills all the elements that stop the production of hair. However, applying it may seem a little odd in the beginning as it has sticky properties but with time, you should get use to it. Use a cotton cloth or cotton to massage your eyebrow hair after dampening it with castor oil.

Coconut Oil

 Coconut Oil

Coconut oil has always been famous for helping in hair growth. It not only thickens your eyebrows by promoting new hair growth but also blackens it making it look shinier. You can either apply the coconut oil directly or add a few drops of lemon into the oil and apply it on the eyebrow region. Leave it for about 30 minutes to one hour and wash it with water. However, if you are adding lemon, do not add lemon to the whole bottle of coconut oil but only to the portion you will use at that point of time as lemon has acidic properties and when exposed to air for a longer duration may spoil the effectiveness of coconut oil. For best results, follow this treatment once in a day before going to bed or in the morning when you get up.

Cold Milk Treatment

Milk

This treatment may come with a little bit of stench but is a sure shot way to thicken our scanty eyebrows. Damp a small piece of cotton in the cold milk and apply it gently on your eyebrows in the outward direction. Leave it for about an hour before washing it with cold water. For best results, use full cream milk rather than the skimmed milk and apply when the milk is cold. Follow this treatment at least once in a day to get good results.

Almond Oil

Almond Oil

Almond oil is also a tried and tested way to help in growth of hair. Apply almond oil daily on your eyebrows and leave it overnight before washing it the next morning for the desired results. You can also mix almond oil with lemon and fenugreek seed paste for even better results. If you wish to use it with fenugreek seed paste, soak the seeds in water for about 5 hours and make a paste by mixing almond oil in it. Alternatively, if you are using it with lemon then take out the skin of the lemon and grind it. Mix this grind of lemon oil with almond oil and leave it for 10 days. Leaving it for 10 days is important as almond oil is then mixed completely with the lemon oil. Apply this mixture daily after 10 days at least twice a day for best results.
