  • Bonding- the application of a material similar to the color of the tooth to fill in gaps and spaces. It can also be used to change the color of a discolored or stained tooth
  • Tooth reshaping or contouring- a procedure where the shape of the tooth is altered. The length, the shape and the position of the teeth is changed in order to make it fit ideally for the patient.

Seek consultation with a cosmetic dentist first. Let the dentist inform you on the different procedure, the results, the effects and the costs. Discuss with your dentist your previous dental and medical history. Voice out your concerns and doubts and let them be clarified by your dentist.  You can questions like how would the changes look like, or what should you expect during and after the treatment, It is also important to ask if there are maintenance procedures that is required. Often patients are concentrated on the treatment course that they fail to look after what is needed for maintenance.
