How To Get Rid of Blood Fat

What is blood fat?

Blood fat in simple words is referred to cholesterol or the triglycerides. These are the two most common types of blood fats found in the blood. Having high level of cholesterol or triglycerides often leads to heart problems like high blood pressure, coronary heart disease and other heart problems. The reason is that the fats gets build up on the artery walls of the heart which restrict the free flow of blood or restricts it. This can lead to severe health problems. So it is quite necessary to get rid of these blood fats and this involves a whole plan which includes the proper diet as well as regular exercise to avoid the risk factors.

Begin with Exercises

Usually the people who are fat are found to have this high cholesterol problem but even if you are not fat and you are having blood fat then you should begin your plan with the exercise. It is not necessary to join the gym or do some hard exercises, just begin with walking, jogging etc. Doctors recommend that 30 minutes exercises like brisk walk, jogging, biking and gardening can bring a tremendous change in your body.

Cut out the “Bad” cholesterol

The second important thing is to cut out the use of saturated and trans foods from your diet. These are unhealthy fats also known as “bad” cholesterol which contributes to higher levels of low-density lipoprotein or LDL.

Increase Your Fruit Intake

While cutting the bad cholesterol, you should also work on increasing your fruit intake that is rich in fiber. Instead of having a regular meal, replace your meal with a bowl of fresh fruits. Similarly instead of taking coffee or tea, drink fresh fruit smoothie or shake without adding much sugar so it remains healthy and nutritious.

Increase Healthy Fats

Other healthy foods such as nuts, avocadoes and fish should be consumed, as such foods helps in getting the proteins without increasing your LDL. These foods contain healthy fats which are good for the body and health.

Avoid Alcohol and Smoking

You are also required to avoid alcohol and smoking which increases triglycerides in the blood. Instead of having a drink you should consume more water and natural fruit drinks.

It has been found that high cholesterol is the leading cause of death among men and women in United States of America so it should be controlled. Though cholesterol is often inherited from the family but today our luxurious life styles which is quite inactive have contributed a lot in the development of high cholesterol or blood fats.
