There is an old phrase which goes something like this – “Burn the midnight oil”. The people who are fond of studying often keep their heads stuck in the books through the night and do not sleep properly. However, studying requires focus and you cannot be focused unless you have slept well. A proper sleep relaxes your body and brain and helps you concentrate better. If you are not sleeping properly, you will not be able to study properly as well. Sleep for at least 8 hours at stretch. Sleep a little early. Sleeping at around 10pm and waking up at 6 in the morning is much better than sleeping at 3am in the morning and then waking up at 11. Sleeping in the night refreshes your mind better than sleeping through the morning. Our body clock is conditioned for a good night sleep. If you sleep properly you will feel light and you will feel better. This will make sure that you are able to concentrate better on your studies.

Let’s say you have a bad back ache and you also need to study for the test. Do you really think you will be able to concentrate with the pain in your back? The answer is no. However, if you work out every day, you will feel fitter and you will be able to focus on the studies better. Working out also makes you happier because there the brain releases certain types of hormones during exercise which trigger happiness. When you are happy you are more likely to concentrate better.

Find Some Time To Mediate

Pranic Healing Meditation

What do you require the most while studying? Focus and concentration! How do you master that? Meditation is the best way to train your mind to concentrate better even if the world is turning upside down around you. Therefore, take out at least 15 to 30 minutes for mediation every day. Find a quiet place where you will not be disturbed and meditate. If you don’t know the art of meditating, you can buy a book or watch some videos on YouTube. Meditation will help you focus better. You will not find it very easy in the beginning but after some time you will get used to it.

Focus On The Positive Things

Negativity distracts you from your path and does not let you focus properly. If you want to improve your stamina for studying then do not focus on the negative things in life. Try and be more positive by thinking positive. How exactly do you start thinking positive? Honestly, it is not very easy. Especially if the things around you are not going right, staying positive could be a difficult task. But thinking positive is not about turning blind eye towards what is happening. It is about knowing that you will come through it no matter what. Having the confidence in self is the sign of positivity. Get yourself associated with like minded and positive people if the need be. Avoid the company of the people who are negative and frustrated.
