1. Take A Walk
A 10 minute of brisk walk is sufficient to slug off that energy wasting lethargy. Along with boosting your energy levels and keeping you awake at office, it helps you sleep better at night. You can make walking an integral and inevitable part of your lifestyle. Along with that, take a small walk post lunch to prevent that afternoon nap.
2. Breathe And Ground
Breathing is always taken for granted, right? Conscious breathing has proven benefits. Along with bringing your focus back to your work and improving your alertness, conscious breathing helps in eliminating stress and boredom. Inhale deeply through your nose, allowing your abdomen to inflate generously. Exhale, through your mouth, sucking in the abdomen. 6 to 8 rounds of conscious breathing is sufficient to revive your energy levels.
3. Give Yourself A Good Stretch
You can stretch your spine and back. Spine is the your energy center and when it becomes compressed, you are bound to feel lethargic and sleepy. But that does not mean you need to master yoga. Just get from your seat. Stand straight. Inhale and as you breathe out, bend forward and try to touch your toes. Hold on for a couple of deep breaths. Exhale and come back to center. The blood gushes into the brain and dismisses the sleep.
4. Drink The Right Stuff
Avoid sugary and caffeine infused drinks. These are bound to make you sleep more. The best thing to drink would be a glass of fresh juice or water. Just make sure that you do not add sugar or substitutes for sugar.

You could avoid this by eating a healthy, energy dense breakfast that is packed with proteins. Along with keeping the hunger pangs away till lunchtime, it also helps you eat lesser. So when you stomach is moderately full, the digestion takes place in a better way. This, in turn, prevents you from sleeping.
6. Listen To Music
Music is a great way to ease your boredom. Along with helping you keep awake, it also improves your focus and concentration. Use a headphone and switch on your player. Just find the genre, through trial and error, that would improve your productivity levels.
7. Munch Healthily
If the gap between your breakfast and lunch is too long, then make sure that you are munching on nuts or fruits. An empty stomach could also make you feel sleepy.
8. Sleep Adequately
Try to sleep for 6 to 8 hours every night to avoid sleeping in office. Inculcate a good sleeping routine for that.
